And how you (or your business) should capitalize on this opportunity
Source Recently I wrote about how much Twitch creator Amouranth makes (because it’s honestly shocking), and it blew up!
People are really shocked that there are actually people making this much money online.
But today, there are an infinite amount of ways people are making TONS of money online. It seems like almost every year there is a new, bigger platform for creators to capitalize on and monetize their content.
And no I’m not going to tell you some unrealistic ideas such as investing in real estate or dropshipping as every other cliche “passive income” article will tell you. This article is for people like me who don’t have tons of money to invest and who just want to start something profitable for themselves.
I want to share some of the very recent ways people are making money passively online , that you might not even know about! Content creation is the MOST profitable passive income source
All the examples I share throughout this article all have to do with you producing some type of content.
And before you click away from this article because making content “is not for you” as many people like to argue, I just want to read this and consider the points I make.
If you want this income source to be profitable you need to create something yourself . You cannot make tons of money doing online work for someone else. There is always a cap to it.
But with content creation, the only limit is your mind.
You could write 20 stories on Medium and none of them make over $10. It just takes that ONE to reach the masses and you could make over $2000 just from that one story you post (from personal experience). And this applies to all types of content creation on all social media platforms.
My point is, there is NO cap on how much you can make, and this is why I strongly stress ‘content creation’ to anyone wanting to generate a passive income source for themselves. It’s honestly crazy and if you haven’t hopped on the content creation bandwagon I suggest you do.
Because at the heart of a profitable and lifelong passive income source, is content creation. You may hate Tiktok, but it’s significantly increased passive income platforms
With the huge success of Tiktok, many other competing social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook are actually paying creators to make short-form video content to incentivize people to continue to use these apps. Short-form videos are now monetizable
In 2021, Tiktok introduced the Creator Fund , which is still “early stages.” In other words, get in now while it’s still new.
You need to have at least 100,000 views on your videos in the last 30 days to be eligible to join the program.
Instagram also has a similar program called the Instagram Reels Play Bonus Program. Learn more about it here .
But don’t let these big numbers get you down. Social media is exploding these days and with a bit of dedication, you can get these numbers too.
I’ve tried this out so I know it’s possible for you. I started a Tiktok account for my dogs and in less than 10 videos posted, I already got over 200,000 views on a video of my dog sleeping in her bed. As well as tons of likes, comments and 600+ followers from that one video. Facebook is now paying users to make content on their site Meta is investing big in Facebook Reels to compete with TikTok’s short-form video feature , and they’re now paying users to post reels on the site. There are now numerous ways to make money on Facebook, and you probably have never even heard of them. However, you do need to have somewhat of a following to be eligible. But as I said, it’s possible and not as hard as you think it is.Content creators with at least 10,000 followers, 5 videos, and 600,000 minutes of viewership in the past 60 days are eligible to monetize their content through ads. These numbers sound crazy, but you’ll be surprised, reels are popping off on Facebook and being promoted by the company as they try to compete with Tiktok. Reels bonus program Facebook is paying up to $35,000 per month for creators who get at least 1,000 views over a 30-day period on their reels. Facebook is also paying writers Start posting your […]
